Croatian investigative journalist Domagoj Margetić has announced that he has been invited by the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina to give evidence in investigations related to the case known as the “Sarajevo Safari”, a matter for which he has been demanding an investigation and has repeatedly published allegations for years.
In a public reaction, Margetić announced that he has received an official invitation from the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina to appear as a witness in this case.
According to him, the invitation came just a few days after prosecutors from the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina participated in a meeting organized by the European Union agency, EUROJUST, where the progress of the investigations into the “Sarajevo Safari” case was discussed.

Immediately after that meeting, the Prosecutor’s Office invited me to testify,” Margetić wrote. He confirmed that he will respond to the Prosecution’s summons and that he will hand over to investigators all the documentation and evidence he has collected regarding this case. “Of course I will respond to the invitation and present all the evidence I have at my disposal,” he declared.
At the end of the reaction, Margetić made a strong statement, claiming that if something happens to him before he gives his testimony, responsibility should be sought from the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić. “If something happens to me before I testify, hold Aleksandar Vučić’s office in Andričev Venac in Belgrade responsible,” the Croatian journalist declared.
