A Ukrainian drone has hit a Wildberries warehouse in Krasny Bor, Russia, in an attack that caused extensive damage to the facility. The attack comes at a time when the company is significantly expanding its logistics operations outside of Russian territory. The Wildberries company is building new warehouses in Kazakhstan with a total area of more than 260 thousand square meters.

According to the Kazakh Minister of Trade, a warehouse with an area of over 100,000 square meters will be built near Almaty, while another facility with an area of 160,000 square meters is under construction in Astana. These logistics centers are expected to begin operations early next year. The company is currently also leasing about 46,000 square meters of warehouse space in Kazakhstan.

The expansion of logistics operations outside of Russia comes after Wildberries lost part of its storage capacity inside Russia due to drone attacks. /Telegraph
