Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that Israel has not accepted the draft agreement proposed by the administration of US President Donald Trump for the disarmament of Hamas and the demilitarization of the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli leader said that Trump’s team believes it can convince Hamas to give up its weapons and demilitarize Gaza, but stressed that the proposal presented does not represent Israel’s position. “They sent us a draft, but we didn’t agree with it. This is not our draft. We sent our comments,” he declared.

Otherwise, Trump had announced days earlier that after the disarmament of Hamas, Israeli forces would withdraw from Palestinian territory.
