Israeli media reports indicate that Jared Kushner, son-in-law of US President Donald Trump and member of the Executive Board for Gaza, has reacted sharply to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding his handling of the Gaza plan, as disagreements over this initiative deepen.
According to Channel 14 television, which cites sources familiar with the talks, Kushner and Netanyahu have held several tense discussions in recent days about how to proceed with the plan. Kushner opposed Netanyahu’s stance on several steps outlined in the Gaza roadmap.
He argued that the initiative was designed precisely based on the Israeli prime minister’s desire to find an alternative to both continued Israeli control of Gaza and Hamas rule. “You are sabotaging the very idea you asked for,” Kushner reportedly told Netanyahu, accusing him of obstructing the initiative at the very moment it was moving toward implementation, the media wrote.
